SARAJEVO, July 30 (FENA) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić received on Wednesday, in a farewell visit, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mahmoud Heidari.
Zvizdić thanked Ambassador Heidari for good and successful cooperation and for his significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
He stressed that BiH and Iran have good political and cultural relations, and that there are no open issues between the two countries.
Heidari thanked Zvizdić for his cooperation and confirmed Iran's commitment to developing even better relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina in all segments.
They also talked about the coronavirus pandemic, and on that occasion, Zvizdić expressed hope for a quick recovery of Iran and the citizens of that country in the fight against the pandemic.
Zvizdić and Heidari agreed that the parliamentary cooperation needs to be improved in the coming period, and stressed that there is a lot of room for improving economic, science and cultural cooperation.
Zvizdić said that, when the conditions are met, the Iranian economic delegation should visit Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to define the modalities for improving economic cooperation.
Ambassador Heidari also conveyed the invitation of the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf to the Deputy Chairman Zvizdić to visit Iran in the coming period.
Zvizdić wished Ambassador Heidari a lot of success in his future diplomatic career, state dthe office from of the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić.
