SARAJEVO, August 3 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated each other the feast of Eid al-Adha in a telephone conversation, with mutual wishes for the prosperity of both countries and their peoples.
The two officials exchanged on the coronavirus pandemic in both countries and its consequences.
Chairman Džaferović thanked for the assistance that Turkey has provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina among the first countries to do so, while President Erdogan reiterated his readiness to continue that assistance in case of need.
They also discussed bilateral cooperation, as well as cooperation in the region, with special emphasis on the trilateral mechanism of cooperation.
One of the topics of conversation was the opening of the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the citizens of Turkey, in the same way as Turkey fully opened its border for the citizens of BiH.
Chairman Džaferović expressed belief that the BiH Council of Ministers would soon make a decision on opening the BiH border for Turkish citizens.
