SARAJEVO, August 3 (FENA) - Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković attended today the first meeting of the BiH MoFA Team for Operational Support to the 2020 Local Elections.
Members of the BiH Central Election Commission Jakup Subašić and Suad Arnautović presented "Basic Information for Voters Abroad for the 2020 Local Elections".
Arnautović informed the members of the MoFA Team about the changed way of voting outside BiH due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the meeting, the participants once again emphasized the important role of BiH diplomatic and consular missions in the world in exercising the right to vote abroad, better information of citizens and support for registration, as well as the organization of voting in the premises of diplomatic and consular missions network.
All participants expressed their readiness to make maximum efforts in order to better respond to BiH citizens from the diaspora in the local elections that will be held on November 15, 2020, announced the PR Office of the BiH MFA.
