MOSTAR, August 14 (FENA) - At today's extended online session of the HDZ BiH Presidency, chaired by the party's president Dragan Čović, the current political situation in BiH was discussed, with an emphasis on recent activities and developments in the context of preparations for the upcoming local elections in BiH.
At the session, the Presidency dissolved the Municipal Board of HDZ BiH Tomislavgrad due to non-compliance with election deadlines, party registration for elections, as well as harmonization of the list of candidates for the Municipal Council and candidates for mayor, and appointed HDZ BiH Commission for Tomislavgrad led by Jozo Bagarić.
Also, the proposal of the list and candidates for mayors and municipal / city councils that arrived from the field was adopted, the HDZ BiH announced.
"HDZ BiH's goal is clear, to get the majority of registered candidates for mayors, and the majority on the lists for municipal and city councils, including lists with coalitions of parties of the Croatian National Parliament," it was concluded at the session.
