BIHAĆ, September 10 (FENA) - At today's meeting, representatives of the Public Company Roads of the Federation of BiH and the City Administration of Bihać discussed extremely important projects, which are in the phase of implementation or preparation.
"We are already in the final phase of construction the main road deviation on M-5, which is of great importance for the city of Bihać and for which 1,800,000 KM has been allocated. Money has been provided for three other large and important projects, but we have property-legal problems since these are projects for the construction of the third lane for slow vehicles on Ripački klanac, the Izačić bypass and the completion of the construction of the Bihać - Bosanska Krupa road," said the director of the Public Company Roads of the Federation of BiH, Ljubo Pravdić.
He added that the Road Modernization Program for projects in Una-Sana Canton has provided about 27 million euros.
"We are already in the fourth year of the Road Modernization Program, and unfortunately we have implemented the fewest projects in the USC. The reason for this is the slow and complicated procedure of issuing permits for construction and expropriation of land. But together we try to create all the preconditions for construction as soon as possible. Almost 21 million euros are still standing and waiting for the implementation of planned projects. In addition to the mentioned projects in Bihać, there is a large bypass project in Cazin and several other municipalities," director Pravdić said.
