SARAJEVO, November 15 (FENA) – The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt, Vice President of the Federation of BiH Milan Dunović and the Mayor of Sarajevo Benjamina Karić today unveiled a memorial plaque in honor of the killed citizens of Sarajevo, mostly ethnic Serbs, at Kazani.

A large number of persons from the political and public life of BiH attended the unveiling of the plaque, but none of them wanted to address the media out of respect for the victims.

The City Council of the City of Sarajevo adopted the final decision on the content of the text of the memorial, and the date of marking was set for November 9.

“We will forever, with sadness and respect, remember our fellow citizens who were killed,” says the text engraved on the memorial with the names of 17 victims.
