ZENICA, December 28 (FENA) - The recognition of Honorary Citizen of the Zenica-Doboj Canton was presented today to the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar.
Minister Akar was in Zenica today, and visited the headquarters of the Turkish EUFOR mission in Zenica.
The Prime Minister of ZDC Mirnes Bašić, Speaker of the Assembly Ćazim Huskić, the former Speaker of the Assembly Jasmin Duvnjak and the representative of the association "Bridges of Friendship" from Zenica Jasmin Imamović handed over the charter to Minister Akar.
Minister Akar is responsible for supporting the building of peace and trust, and for his exceptional contribution to the development of international and interethnic cooperation in BiH on the principles of humanity, tolerance and solidarity, reads the explanation of the decision made by the ZDC Assembly in 2018.
