SARAJEVO, February 15 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić, together with the Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić and the Assistant Minister for Veterans Affairs Mirza Terzo, visited the returnee population in Foča today.
During a meeting with representatives of the Bosniak community in Foča, Novalić said that returnees are not and will never be a marginalized group.
"I told them that we see the returnees as the main connective tissue of our homeland BiH and that the FBiH Government has been, for the past 25 years, and especially this government, systematically helping the survival of returnees in their homes. This is proved by this next budget, which already envisages a significant increase in the draft, and I believe that it will be a radical increase, almost twice as much as it has been so far. This is our best answer and message to the returnees that, whatever the situation in society is from the point of view of rhetoric concerning the attack on our country, our support will be greater," Novalić emphasized.
In that sense, the Prime Minister said that the Federation of BiH will never let down the returnees and leave them stranded.
As he stated, they discussed specific projects for the returnee community in this area and informed the returnees about the legal changes which will equalize the rights of those in the Federation of BiH with returnees, primarily in the pension system, but also the rights of veterans.
