SARAJEVO, February 28 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić extended congratulations to all citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina and around the world, on the occasion of the Independence Day of BiH.
"At the referendum on February 29 and March 1, 1992, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina declared that they live in an independent, sovereign and dignified state, in which they will enjoy all rights and freedoms, without discrimination on any grounds.
Today, 30 years after gaining independence, we must continue to bravely fight for the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, for peace, security and stability," underlinedKomšić.
"The diversity in our homeland should be our pride and the greatest wealth, and not an object for manipulation, hatred and conflicts. We need to focus our energy on positive reforms that will provide a healthy and prosperous environment for all peoples in BiH. This is a historic date, which we will celebrate forever.
On behalf of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and on my own behalf, I extend my sincerest congratulations to all citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina and around the world on the occasion of BiH Independence Day, wishing for the lasting prosperity of our homeland," concluded the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH in his congratulatory message.
