SARAJEVO, March 11 (FENA) - The Council of the Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals (VKBI) announced that the Council for the Implementation of the Declaration on Constitutional and Other Reforms of BiH on the Path to the EU and NATO has been established today.
After the signing of the Declaration on Constitutional and Other Reforms of BiH on the Path to the EU and NATO, a constituent session of the Council for the Implementation of the Declaration was held, as agreed in article 10 of the Declaration.
The aim of the Council for the Implementation of the Declaration is to offer a clear concept of constitutional and electoral solutions, which will be based on final judgments of UN courts, the European Court of Human Rights, the Constitutional Court and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The rule of law and the fight against systemic corruption will be one of the Council's priorities.
"We are encouraged by the support for the Declaration we received from the former High Representative Christian Schwarz-Schilling, Bundestag member Adis Ahmetović, Ambassador Diego Arrie.
In the near future, we will announce the support of our friends from the USA, Great Britain, the EU Parliament, as well as many other prominent political figures from the parliaments of European countries, as well as from Bosnia and Herzegovina, associations from the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Austria and a number of other European countries," stated the VKBI.
