BANJA LUKA, April 11 (FENA) - President of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) Mirko Šarović said that the decision on sanctions against Milorad Dodik and Željka Cvijanović was a decision made by key international factors.
"It is their unilateral decision that no one could have influenced," said Šarović.
"The people are not to blame for anyone's sanctions. It is not the people's fault and you are not going to make a living shield out of them," said Šarović.
He says that he never called for sanctions against anyone and that he did not do that this time either.
According to him, the key problem is in the retrograde, crony politics without any sensible direction, which can bring Republika Srpska into a very difficult situation.
"The biggest traitor is the one who systematically destroys Republika Srpska exclusively because of his own interests," said Šarović.
