SARAJEVO, April 19 (FENA) - BiH Parliamentary Military Commissioner Boško Šiljegović received today the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Pamela MCGaha in an inaugural visit.
Šiljegović briefed McGaha with the activities of the Office of the Parliamentary Military Commissioner of BiH, especially referring to the human rights situation of members of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH), the importance of visits to units and commands of the AFBiH, as well as the need to upgrade the current laws and bylaws, which, in his opinion, would have a good impact on improving the living and working conditions of members of the AFBiH.
Šiljegović informed the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo about the very good cooperation with the Joint Committee on Defense and Security of BiH and the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
During the meeting, the officials also discussed the plan of activities of the Office of the Parliamentary Military Commissioner of BiH for 2022.
The Parliamentary Military Commissioner of BiH expressed readiness to continue cooperation with the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo in the spirit of partnership and long-term good practice of mutual respect and trust, the BiH PA said.
