MOSTAR, May 4 (FENA) - We are saddened by the fact that the Bosniak side has not shown enough understanding and interest, in fact, it has made it known that they are fine with the status quo, that they like the electoral engineering and that the Croat people get outvoted, said the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman in Mostar on Wednesday.

He emphasized that this is not good for anyone and "if someone thinks that someone has beaten someone, they are very much mistaken".

"Croatia will continue to testify about the unequal position of the Croat people and regardless of the decision of the Court of BiH, we believe that the CEC is unconstitutional and unlawful because it took over the prerogatives of the legislator,  which it cannot be because it is an administrative body," said the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He added that they were very disappointed that no agreement has been reached on amending the BiH Election Law, adding that they had made great political efforts, and encouraged the negotiators, but that, unfortunately, Croatia was not sitting at the negotiating table.

He stressed that Croatia will continue to strongly support issues that are of vital interest to the Croat people in BiH.

"Croatia will continue to be a shield to any scenarios that come from the outside if they are aimed at further destabilization and disenfranchisement of the Croat people in BiH.

Therefore, Croatia will not stand still, it will not be passive, but we need time. I came today to convey the message of the Prime Minister Andrej Plenković that we are strongly engaged and that we will strongly support issues that are of vital interest to the Croat people in BiH," said Grlić Radman.
