TREBINJE, May 9 (FENA) - On the occasion of Europe Day, Mostar Mayor Mario Kordić and Head of the European Union Delegation to BiH Johann Sattler attended a concert of classical music performed by the Trebinje Symphony Orchestra at the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje.
Noting that the European Union Office in BiH chooses another place in the country every year to celebrate Europe Day with EU ambassadors, Sattler said that it is no coincidence that this year they are in Trebinje, because it is a place that is a wonderful combination of natural beauty and cultural and historical heritage.
"We are here because we celebrate the idea of a united Europe, a continent that has emerged from the war for a better future," Sattler said, especially at a time when people are still fighting somewhere else while we are celebrating here.
"I am especially happy to be here with the whole family of the European Union ambassadors and thank you all once again. Happy Europe Day," Sattler congratulated.
