BOSANSKO GRAHOVO, May 24 (FENA) - FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and FBiH Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Amir Zukić visited Bosansko Grahovo today, where they met with Mayor of Bosansko Grahovo Uroš Đuran. They also visit Drvar and Glamoč and met with their Mayors Dušica Runić and Nebojša Radivojša.
The officials stated that the Government of the Federation of BiH continues to assist the lower levels of government and that every municipality in the Federation of BiH is equally important.
“This year's budget is the largest in the history of the Federation of BiH, and it concerns the largest items regarding municipalities. Transfer to lower levels of government is 239 million KM, of which 39 million KM to municipalities, compared to last year's 30 million KM. We have just come here to announce that the possibilities of supporting these municipalities are much greater,” said the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić.
He emphasized that this year the assistance to municipalities will be much bigger, so that they, for their part, should apply for the right projects, and the Government will do its best to make these projects a reality.
Speaking about concrete assistance to municipalities, Minister Zukić mentioned the Decree on assistance to crafts and other independent activities for mitigating the consequences of Covid-19, where about 200,000 KM was allocated for 120 entrepreneurs and independent craftsmen for the municipalities of Bosansko Grahovo, Drvar and Glamoč.
Mayor of Bosanski Grahovo, Uroš Đuran, pointed out that at the meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister Zukić, he expressed the need for infrastructure projects.
Mayor of Drvar, Dušica Runić, stated that future projects in municipalities were discussed at today's meeting.
Mayor of Glamoč, Nebojša Radivojša, assessed the meeting as good because it talked about projects that were implemented in the municipality thanks to the financial support of the FBiH Government.
