SARAJEVO, June 6 (FENA) - Members of the Committee on Foreign Trade and Customs of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina supported the initiative committing the BiH Council of Ministers to adopt a Decision suspending customs duties on imports of electric vehicles and significantly reduces the tariff rate on imports of hybrid cars.
The initiative was submitted to the procedure by an MP of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) Edita Đapo, an MP of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Saša Magazinović and an MP of the A-SDA Jasmin Emrić.
According to the initiative, decarbonization is one of the key pillars of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, which is why it is necessary for the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to show that they are aware of that and are concrete in the realization of their commitments.
The parliamentary initiative which suspends the customs tariffs on the import of electric cars and significantly reduces the customs rate on the import of hybrid cars will be presented at the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of BiH scheduled for tomorrow, June 7.
