SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) - Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, met today in Sarajevo with the General Director of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSA), Osman Mehmedagić.
At the meeting with the high delegation of NATO, one of the topics was the strengthening of cooperation between the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Alliance, with a focus on the security aspect and strengthening of capacities for cyber defense and security of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.
It was emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina is an important and reliable partner of NATO and that its sovereignty and territorial integrity are unquestionable, stated the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
One of the messages from the meeting is that cooperation between NATO and the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is extremely important at this moment in view of global events.
In this context, NATO will strengthen cooperation with security agencies in our country in the fight against terrorism and the spread of disinformation.
Bauer underlined that NATO remains determined to ensure peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the Western Balkans.
