Diesel and gasoline prices rise in FBiH in July

SARAJEVO, August 18 (FENA) - According to data from the FBiH Ministry of Trade, the retail prices of "Diesel BAS EN 590" fuel in July 2022 were higher by 2.37 percent compared to the previous month. 

In July, the prices of the said derivative were higher by 60.93 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

Retail prices of "super plus" unleaded gasoline - BAS EN 228 - BMB 98 in July were higher by 4.61 percent compared to the previous month.

The prices of this fuel increased by 49.78 percent compared to July 2021.

Also, in July, the retail prices of "premium" unleaded gasoline 95, BAS EN 228- BMB 95 increased by 1.85 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to July 2021, the prices of that derivative are higher by 49.77 percent.

Compared to countries in the region, these average fuel prices were higher than those in Slovenia, Montenegro and North Macedonia, and lower compared to Albania, Croatia and Serbia.

According to the data from the application of the FBiH Ministry of Trade, both the price of diesel and the price of gasoline have been declining in the past few days.

A liter of diesel in Sarajevo costs from 3.01 to 3.21 KM per liter and the lowest price is five pfennigs lower than at the beginning of the week.

Gasoline prices range from 2.81 to 3.31 KM per liter.
