SARAJEVO, August 23 (FENA) - The OSCE observation mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will evaluate the election process in Bosnia and Herzegovina this year as well, it was announced.
This was announced by the leading team of this observation mission during today's visit to the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the meeting, representatives of the CEC and ODIHR discussed the fulfillment of earlier OSCE recommendations and exchanged information on the activities so far in preparation for this year's General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled for October 2.
The interlocutors are satisfied that the preparation process is going well and in accordance with the election calendar, regardless of all the challenges from the beginning.
The ODIHR team consists of: Peter Tejler (Sweden), Marcell Nagy (Hungary), Deliana Kirilova Popova (Bulgaria), Barbara Ann Davis (USA), Nadine Haas (Luxembourg), Maria Krause (Romania), Mariam Tabatadze (Georgia) and Iegor Tilpunov (Ukraine).
