SARAJEVO, September 29 (FENA) - The High Representative of the International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, visited the Directorate for Coordination of BiH Police Bodies, where he met with Director Mirsad Vilić and his associates, and discussed the security aspect of conducting the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled for Sunday, October 2, 2022.
They briefed the High Representative on the formation of the Operational Headquarters "General Elections 2022", initiated by the BiH CEC, with headquarters in the Directorate, for coordinating the work and tasks of all police agencies in BiH to preserve the security environment during the entire election process, announced the Directorate for Coordination of BiH Police Bodies.
Director Vilić informed High Representative Schmidt about the activity plan of the Operational Headquarters "General Elections 2022" during the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The High Representative for BiH thanked Vilić for the readiness of the Directorate for Coordination of BiH Police Bodies to undertake all actions within its competence in connection with securing the electoral process in BiH.
