MOSTAR, November 10 (FENA) - Mostar Mayor Mario Kordić and Mostar City Council President Salem Marić received the Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Brian Aggeller, with his associates.
The Mayor and City Council President stressed that the priority of the city authorities in Mostar is to solve citizens' problems and attract investments that would enable economic development. In order to open up the possibility of investing in Mostar, certain decisions have already been made on benefits for investors according to which the costs of taxes and fees prescribed by city decisions are refunded, the City of Mostar announced.
Ambassador Aggeller was informed about the key economic activities and potentials of the City of Mostar in the field of tourism, energy production from renewable energy sources, and the activities undertaken to put these advantages into the function of further development of Mostar.
Ambassador Brian Aggeller and his associates emphasized that positive steps are visible in Mostar after the political crisis was resolved. They thanked the mayor and the president of the City Council for their cooperation so far, stating that they are always ready to help with the challenges that stand before them.
The OSCE delegation included Director of the Human Dimension Department Ivo Lupis, Head of the Policy and Planning Department in the Office of the Head of Mission Mathieu Lemoine, Head of the Office in Mostar Ioannis Piliouris and Spokesperson of the OSCE Mission in BiH Željka Šulc.
