SARAJEVO, December 27 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Türkiye have achieved extremely good cooperation in the field of security in the past period and are an example of good and partnership relations between friendly countries, it was concluded today at the meeting of the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Selmo Cikotić, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sadik Babur Girgin.
Minister Cikotić recalled that during this last term in office, which was marked by major security and humanitarian challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the migrant crisis and war conflicts in the world, the cooperation between the two countries was at a high level with Türkiye's selfless and constant support for strengthening institutions and preserving stability in BiH.
Ambassador Girgin wished Minister Cikotić success in his future work and announced the continuation of Türkiye's constructive role in strengthening security in the region and strong support for BiH in the future, stated the Ministry of Security of BiH.
