One victim of the past war identified in Identification Center in Sanski Most

SANSKI MOST, April 6 (FENA) - One victim of the past war was identified today in the Commemorative and identification center Šejkovača, in Sanski Most. This is a victim of Bosniak nationality who disappeared in August 1994 in the area of Cazin.

The victim was first identified using the DNA method, and the family members confirmed the obtained identity today.

Family members today identified Ahmet (Abdulah) Okanović, born in 1968 in Trnovi near Velika Kladuša.

He disappeared in the town of Pećigrad in 1994, and his remains were exhumed in October 2022 in the area of Velika Kladuša, more precisely at the site of the Drmaljevo cemetery, the Missing Persons Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
