SARAJEVO, April 13 (FENA) - President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A welcoming ceremony with military honors was held in front of the BiH Presidency building, and Aliyev was welcomed by the Chairman and members of the state presidency Željka Cvijanović, Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić.
After the joint photo session, there will be a tête-à-tête meeting between the members of the BiH Presidency and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and then a meeting of the official delegations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As FENA was told earlier in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they will mostly discuss economic cooperation, with a special emphasis on cooperation in the field of energy.
After the meeting of the delegations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan, A signing of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Azerbaijan is planned, followed by statements for the media.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived this morning in BiH leading a numerous delegation from that country.
