SARAJEVO, April 26 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the Commander of EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Major General Helmut Habermayer, about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bećirović told Major General Habermayer that it is urgently necessary to increase the number of EUFOR soldiers in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to Milorad Dodik's dangerous anti-Dayton policy in our country.
He emphasized the important role of EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a guarantor of stability and security.
At the same time, Bećirović said that Bosnia and Herzegovina remains committed to preserving a stable environment for all citizens, the Euro-Atlantic perspective and contribution to international peace.
Major General Habermayer stated that EUFOR is a reliable partner of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed his support for the institutions of BiH in maintaining a safe and protected environment in our country.
He emphasized that EUFOR forces are carefully monitoring the security and political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was emphasized that the EUFOR mission continues to communicate with all local authorities in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina through a network of liaison and observation teams.
During the conversation, BiH Presidency member Bećirović expressed his gratitude for EUFOR's cooperation with the BiH Armed Forces and other institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bećirović and Major General Helmut Habermayer expressed the desire to continue the successful cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and EUFOR in the coming period, announced the BiH Presidency.
