SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, spoke today at the opening of this year's edition of the Sarajevo Business Forum saying that "our common task is to create an environment with the opportunities offered for survival, work and development in Bosnia and Herzegovina".
Nikšić stated that the cooperation of domestic investors, international investors and our already developed, strong emigration is a winning combination from which we all can and should benefit.
"Opportunities for investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina are numerous. Our geographical location, our openness to EU markets, favorable export conditions, natural resources and the possibility of developing various economic sectors, from agriculture, through tourism, and energy and mining, are some of the advantages of our homeland over numerous other environments in the surrounding area," said the FBiH Prime Minister.
At the same time, his message to those investors who may have seen an opportunity to hire cheap labor instead of these advantages and opportunities for business development in Bosnia and Herzegovina was that this was not an option.
As for the representatives of the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina at all levels, Nikšić pointed out that their task is to create conditions for improving the business climate and labor standards.
"We need integration. Business and economy are concepts that integrate societies, communities, and even the whole world. That's why I wish you the best of luck in your work with the message that the Government of the Federation is at your disposal," emphasized Nikšić.
