SARAJEVO, June 20 (FENA) - The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ji Ping, today visited the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidija Bradara.
This is the first official meeting, as the Ambassador said, because there have been several unofficial meetings, all over BiH and on numerous occasions.
Ambassador Ping showed enviable knowledge as well as enormous respect for the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he agreed with President Bradara that there is still plenty of room for cooperation between these two countries, Bradara’s Office announced.
He said that this meeting was an opportunity to exchange opinions and ideas for the continuation of cooperation for mutual benefit. Namely, cooperation is primarily visible on the trade and economic level, and numerous Chinese companies are working on some of the most important infrastructure projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Quality, speed of performance, and compliance with contracts are just some of the many positive characteristics that adorn Chinese companies and from which we as a society, as well as the business community, can learn. We can also learn a lot from them in the field of digitization, green energy, and numerous other modern processes. But the condition for any development, including economic development, is the development of infrastructure and a stable political situation, which, I hope, is now increasingly felt in the Federation as well," said President Bradara.
She also discussed with the Ambassador the tourist capacities of BiH. The Chinese Ambassador said that Chinese citizens are very interested in BiH, and they often recognize the hospitality of the hosts.
