SARAJEVO, July 10 (FENA) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved a loan of eight million euros to Sparkasse Bank, which the bank will direct to local clients - small and medium-sized enterprises.
The funds will be used to help small businesses invest in the automation and digitization of business processes to improve their productivity, operational efficiency and resilience.
Small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to apply for funds to invest in hardware and software for various digital transformation projects in the area of production, internal processes and services.
The goal is to encourage the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises and make them more competitive on the European Union markets, and their operations aligned with the standards required by EU directives.
In addition to loans, SMEs will benefit from incentives in the form of grants worth up to 15 percent of the total loan amount.
These incentives are financed by the European Union.
