POTOČARI, July 11 (FENA) - A delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, is in Srebrenica on the occasion of commemorating the 28th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the "UN Safe Area" of Srebrenica. They attended the commemoration at the Srebrenica Memorial Center in Potočari. On that occasion, Prime Minister Nikšić signed the Book of Mourning.

"July 11 after 1995, the time of commemoration and funeral is the time when we pay our respects in silence so that the victims may find peace. The rest of the days let us talk, remind and do everything we can so it never happens again to anyone," wrote Prime Minister Nikšić.

In addition to the Prime Minister, the FBiH Government delegation includes the FBiH Deputy Prime Ministers, FBiH Minister of Finance Toni Kraljević and Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Vojin Mijatović, and FBiH Minister for Veterans and Invalids of the Defense and Liberation War Nedžad Lokmić, Internal Affairs Ramo Isak, Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar, education and science Jasna Duraković, commerce Amir Hasičević, as well as agriculture, water management and forestry Kemal Hrnjić.

After the commemoration, the FBiH Prime Minister and ministers paid their respects and laid flowers at the memorial in the cemetery in Potočari, and attended the burial of 30 identified victims of genocide whose remains were found in several mass graves.

"The silence of the white tombs is the loudest and clearest message and testimony of what happened here. On this sad anniversary, we should all show dignity. Let's be quiet and let the victims find their final peace. We have the obligation to fight in Srebrenica so that life overcomes destruction, and that reconstruction overcomes the destroyers," said Prime Minister Nikšić.
