Ivanić: I would like to be an optimist, but this will be a difficult year

SARAJEVO, January 7 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency member Mladen Ivanić talked about what he expected from 2018, saying he would like to be optimistic, but that there are not many arguments to support such views.

"I would love to say that next year will be better, but I am afraid I do not have much arguments for it, because I am not hopeful that the people who have not been able to negotiate the Election Law for three years, primarily talking about SDA and HDZ, will be able to agree in the next few weeks or months,” said Ivanić to reporters in Sarajevo.

He pointed out that the political climate is such that it is difficult to expect a solution to the issue of the Election Law.

"I would like to be an optimist, but I do not have many arguments to support it, and I am afraid this will be a very difficult year," Ivanić told reporters after a reception that he hosted in Sarajevo on the occasion of the Orthodox Christmas.
