BANJA LUKA, January 8 (FENA) - A member of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanić, warned again that BiH, because of the lack of agreement between Bosniaks and Croats regarding the Election Law, is entering into a crisis in which the entire BiH could find itself in a situation like the one in the City of Mostar.

He reminded that six months ago he warned that the Election Law was the biggest problem that would burden the state, but nobody took it seriously.

"I think there is a small chance to achieve some kind of agreement, because there are significantly different views about the content of the election law and I do not believe that could be significant progress with regards to this issue," Ivanić told reporters in Banja Luka.

He expressed his view that it would be good for SDA and HDZ representatives to "talk openly and try to reach an agreement, because neither Croatia nor Turkey would solve it for them."

“Unfortunately, due to lack of communication, I am not optimistic and I fear that BiH could slowly but surely enter a serious political crisis, which can lead to a situation in which, after the elections, the whole of BiH would be in deadlock like the City of Mostar,” Ivanić said.
