FBiH Tax Administration collects 4.82 billion KM of public revenues in 2017

SARAJEVO, January 11 (FENA) – The FBiH Tax Administration collected in 2017 KM 4.82 billion of public revenues for which the institution is competent, which is 8.15 percent more than a year earlier, said Acting Director of the FBiH Tax Administration Šerif Isović at a press conference today in Sarajevo.

Mr. Isović said that direct taxes were collected in the amount of KM 1.62 billion, and contributions in the amount of KM 3.19 billion.

“The Sarajevo Canton has the largest share in the collection of public revenue with KM 1.81 billion or 37.61 percent, followed by the Tuzla Canton with KM 791.98 million or 16.43 percent, then by the Zenica-Doboj Canton with KM 616.65 million or 12.79 percent and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton with KM 571.88 million or 11.86 percent,” Mr. Isović said.

He also said that the number of employees in the Federation of BiH, according to the data of the FBiH Tax Administration, as of December 31, 2017, amounted to 513,313, which is 9,432 more than in the previous year.
