SARAJEVO, January 11 (FENA) - The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SDP) will not vote for the election law advocated by the Croat National Assembly (HNS), stated the SDP Vice President Miro Lazović.

“We do not accept any kind of constituencies created along ethnic lines, on the contrary, we have to turn towards European standards,” said Lazović ahead of today's session of the SDP Presidency.

He announced that SDP would initiate certain law proposals aimed at overcoming the controversial issues that complicate the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in that context, this includes the law on state holidays.

SDP is ready to be part of a solution that will offer balance between civic and ethnic principles and will not contribute to further complicating of the problem, said Miro Lazović.
