SPLIT, January 14 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović met on Saturday with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković in Split, Croatia.

“I am glad that we have friends both among Bosniaks and among Serbs, and the most important of all in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to gather and organize the Croat people. That is why we organized the Croat National Assembly in BiH, which has opened itself up to all political parties of the Croat people in BiH, and there are more than 20 of them, and we want to send a message to those international representatives who still try to help us build a modern society, but before all partner nations in BiH that they will not be able to build the future of BiH without the Croat people,” Čović said, N1 TV reports.

“That is what we need. Our constitutional equality, legitimate representation, and the rest we will be able to do ourselves in BiH. We will be assured that we have our big brother in Croatia and that this will be a strong message to all those who might think differently,” said the leader of HDZ BiH.

Čović, together with Plenković, the president of Croatian HDZ, attended the celebration on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the establishment of HDZ in Split.
