SARAJEVO, January 15 (FENA) - The BiH Defense Minister Marina Pendeš with associates received today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Hani Abdullah M. Mominah.
Pendeš informed Mominah about the activities of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the support and assistance that this friendly country has provided to our country.
The meeting also focused on the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to MoD BiH, with a special emphasis on the assistance of this friendly country to the process of resolving surplus weapons and ammunition and further strengthening the security of the storage spaces of the AFBiH, as part of the existing projects implemented under the UNDP program and the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Today's meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the proposed bilateral defense agreement between the two ministries. Mominah was informed about the activities and procedures related to the proposal of the document.
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed satisfaction with the relations between the two countries and expressed his country's commitment to continuance and expansion of cooperation with BiH in the segment of defense, stated the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
