Zvizdić and Ferguson discuss political and economic situation in BiH

SARAJEVO, January 16 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić today met with Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina Edward Ferguson and informed him about the current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers of BiH is committed to meeting the conditions necessary for the European and NATO path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and informed him about the conclusions of today's meeting on harmonizing the remaining seven responses to the European Commission Questionnaire.  

Ambassador Ferguson informed Chairman Zvizdić of the initial plans for the Summit on the Western Balkans, which will be held in London in July, and expressed hope that the summit would produce  concrete and significant contribution to the economic and political development of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.

Zvizdić and Ferguson also discussed important reforms that have been recently completed and concluded that in the coming period it is necessary to continue reforms that are important for progress and a better future in order to strengthen the rule of law and enable the continuation of infrastructure projects, employment, new investments with the goal of faster, overall development of BiH, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
