Šepić elected as chairman of the CoE External Relations Committee

SARAJEVO, January 25 (FENA) - A member of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and chairman of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Senad Šepić, was elected today in Strasbourg as chairman of the Council of Europe's External Relations Committee.

At the same session, Maria Guzenina from Finland was elected as Mr. Šepić's deputy.

“This vote is a great acknowledgment and confirmation of Šepić’s international credibility, but also a big victory for BiH, as this is one of the most significant and influential committees within the Council of Europe, with all its 47 member states, most of which are members of the European Union,” reads the statement of the Delegation of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly to the Council of Europe.
