SARAJEVO, January 30 (FENA) - The Olympic team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who will represent our country at the upcoming Winter Olympic Games from 9 to 25 February in South Korean city of Pyoengchang, was presented today in Sarajevo.
BiH will have four representatives in the Alpine skiing and cross-country skiing at the Olympics.
Elvedin Muzaferija will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in alpine skiing, and will compete in all disciplines. Emir Lokmić will compete in slalom and giant slalom, while Mladen Plakalović and Tanja Karišik will compete in cross-country skiing.
According to the president of the BiH Olympic Committee Marijan Kvesić, the BiH delegation will depart for South Korea on 4 February. In addition to athletes and their personal trainers, together with the Head of Mission and Administration, the BiH team should consist of 15 members.
The Executive Committee of the BiH OC, at its session on 31 January, will decide who will carry the flag of BiH at the games’ opening.
