SARAJEVO, January 30 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić and Deputy Prime Ministers Jelka Milićević and Vesko Drljača held a meeting today with government officials from all cantons in the Federation of BiH, with the aim of synergizing their activities in order to successfully implement the reform goals.
FBiH Prime Minister said at a press conference that the topic of the meeting was essentially the harmonization of the current and upcoming activities.
"We started with the Reform Agenda, which is the main determinant of the work of all governments in this mandate, and we noted that out of 61 items contained in the Reform agenda, 17 of them are also the responsibilities of the cantons. We considered what has been done, including everything that is in the implementation phase, and we paid special attention to the effects of reforms,” said Novalic after the meeting.
Novalić said that the creation of new jobs was one of the main topics discussed today. He also added that, according to the available data, the increase in employment has been recorded in all cantons, making it a total of 38,000 during this government mandate.
“Speaking in percentages, the highest employment growth was recorded in the Tuzla Canton, noting the fact that in the overall number of employed there is small number that refers to the public sector. It's about 1,100 people in healthcare, "said Novalić.
FBiH cantonal officials also discussed the possibility of launching an investment cycle for the construction and modernization of regional roads, as well as activities that are the basis for the next cycle in this sector.
