SARAJEVO, January 31 (FENA) - "Sulejman Kupusović" Memory Gallery opened last night at the foyer of the National Theater in Sarajevo to, as director of the National Theater Marijela Hašimbegović said, nurture memories of all artists who worked at this theater and who set the fundamental values of this cultural institution.
"Even when our artists leave, we still want to hear their voice that will always remind us of true human and theater values," emphasized Hašimbegović.
She explained they decided to dedicate the first exhibit to champion of the National Theater, actress Nada Đurevska.
"Sulejman Kupusović and Nada Đurevska had special artistic link that connected them and they managed to show and prove their artistic values in a special way in plays they worked on together," she emphasized.
She announced the next exhibit will be the one dedicated to famous BiH director which the gallery is named after, Sulejman Kusupović, which is planned to be opened on his birthday, April 7.
"Now the audience will be able to visit this space before they go to see plays and once again see the quality of work of artists who were part of the National Theater," she said.
Gallery was opened under high patronage of Member of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović.
