SARAJEVO, February 1 (FENA) - Italian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nicola Minasi visited today the BiH Minister of Security Dragan Mektić and handed him the letter of Italian Minister of Interior Marco Minniti, sent after the Regional Police Cooperation Conference, held on October 24 last year in Trieste, under the IPA project funded by the European Union aimed at the advancement of the Western Balkan Integration.
During the meeting, the Italian Ambassador and Security Minister discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation.
They talked about the issue of the contact point for cooperation between BiH and EUROPOL, and Ambassador Minasi encouraged the authorities in BiH to continue working and to make this key step to help the European integration of BiH, the Embassy of Italy to BiH stated.
