MOSTAR, Feb 2 (FENA) - Within the certificate presentation ceremony held at the Agency for Education and Professional Development in Mostar, 20 cadets of the Border Police obtained the degree of junior inspector and 50 cadets of the Directorate for Co-ordination of Police Bodies degree of policeman.
The certificates were handed by the Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Development, Branko Vukoja.
Training was carried out through curricula and programs, including 17 subjects through three phases, i.e. theoretical instruction with practical exercises, professional-operational training, and situational teaching and final exam.
- During the four-month training, the cadets showed seriousness and persistence and mastered the entire program related to theoretical knowledge and practical exercises - Vukoja pointed out.
He pointed out that he expected them to be responsible and to continue working on their education in order to be able to perform the duty as the police officers.
On the occasion, Director of Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Galic, said that the Border Police continuously paid attention to the education and professional training of its personnel.
"Only with highly qualified staff can we face withe the combating of all forms of cross-border crime," Galic said.
"You have obtained good knowledge, but you will have to continue to learn and work on yourselves to respond to the new challenges that all law enforcement agencies face with," said on the occasion Deputy Minister of Security of BiH, Mijo Kresic.
