BANJA LUKA, February 4 (FENA) - The Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH (ITA) collected 568 million KM of indirect taxes in January this year, which is 85 million KM more than in the same month last year, when the VAT revenues, excise tax, customs duties and tolls amounted to 483 million KM.
After the ITA in January 2018 paid back 116 million KM in VAT refund, the distribution of revenues from the Single Account in January went to financing of state institutions, to the entity finance ministries and the Brčko District Finance Directorate.
The amount of 61 million KM was allocated for the financing of state institutions, the Federation of BiH received 244.5 million KM, Republika Srpska received 122.5 million KM and the Brčko District received 13.5 million KM.
The ITA recalls that in 2017, it collected record revenues from indirect taxes, which amounted to seven billion and 44 million KM.
In 2018, the ITA has an even more ambitious plan, according to which it should collect seven billion and 342 million KM of indirect taxes” it is said in the statement.
