War Childhood Museum celebrates its first birthday

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, February 4 (FENA) - The youngest museum in BiH, the War Childhood Museum, celebrated its first birthday at Sarajevo's Meeting Point Cinema where, after a short presentation of the first year of the Museum's work, Damir Imamović and Ivana Djurić held a concert on this occasion.

Founder of the War Childhood Museum Jasminko Halilović said that he was glad that this event was of a semi-open type, and that it was intended for participants in the creation of the museum collection, as well as friends of the museum and owners of lifetime tickets. He also spoke about the author of the museum’s logo, Anur Hadžiomerspahić, who died recently.

“Anur was my friend and a friend of the War Childhood Museum. The logo of the Museum that he created to us is the best one in the world. Anur's death represents a huge loss for our city and our country,” said Halilović.
