Tadić and Rousson: There is room for improvement of economic cooperation

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, February 9 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ognjen Tadić met in Sarajevo with French Ambassador Guillaume Rousson, with whom he discussed the current political situation in BiH and the state of bilateral relations between France and BiH.

They jointly concluded that the political and institutional cooperation of the two countries was at a high level and that there was a lot of room for improvement of the economic cooperation, especially regarding direct investments in the economy of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, stated the BiH PA Department of Public Relations.

They exchanged opinions on the European Union Strategy for the Western Balkans and emphasized that it was a document that generally confirms the European perspective of all countries in the region.

According to Mr. Tadić, the Strategy speaks of the fact that the process of European integration of BiH is in the hands of domestic institutions, especially in the light of good neighborly relations in the region, judicial and public administration reform, as well as the fight against the decades-long problems of corruption and organized crime, the statement reads.
