SARAJEVO, February 13 (FENA) – At the initiative of the President of the Social Democratic Party of BiH, Nermin Nikšić, a meeting was held with the High Representative in BiH, Valentin Inzko, during which Mr. Nikšić informed him about his party’s views on the current political situation.
In this context, Mr. Nikšić explained that the SDP wanted to contribute and be part of the solution related to changes in electoral legislation.
In this regard, he expressed his views on the political situation in BiH, the SDP BiH stated.
When it comes to changing the electoral legislation, “it is evident that the SDA and HDZ do not want to reach any solution, but instead are using the EU and US engagement to waste time during which, if they really wanted it, it would be possible to adopt a solution”.
SDP believes that the only possible solution is to solve this issue in the institutions of the BiH system and welcomes the activities of the EU and the United States who want to help.
