BANJA LUKA, February 13 (FENA) - The MPs of the ruling majority in the National Assembly of RS today, in an emergency procedure, adopted the decision on approval of the debt in the amount of 47 million euros with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for additional financing of the Banja Luka - Doboj motorway construction project.
The opposition did not support this loan, claiming that the government submitted one set of data for ratification to the Council of Ministers of BiH, stating that the motorway will cost about 600 million euros, while the documents submitted to the RS parliament it is stated that with an additional debt of 47 million euros, the total cost is 402 million euros, which is an increase of 15 percent compared to the originally agreed price.
The RSNA adopted the Law on Cessation of the Law on Compensations for the Use of Natural Resources for the Purpose of Electricity Production in urgent procedure.
The RS Assembly session ended after the vote, and will continue on February 20, with the debate and vote on the Proposal of the Decision on accepting the RS' loan with the World Bank under the RS Railway Construction Restructuring Project in urgent procedure.
