Mektić and King Salman: Cooperation of security agencies needs to be improved

SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Minister of Security Dragan Mektić is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia where he met with the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today.

They discussed bilateral relations and possibilities for improving the cooperation of security agencies of the two countries.

The meeting was especially focused on the fight against terrorism and extremism. They assessed that cooperation in that area needed to be strengthened, and agreed to organize a return visit by the Saudi Arabian Interior Minister, during which will be presented an action plan for the future cooperation of the security agencies of the two countries.

Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Foreign Minister Nizar bin Obaid Madani and BiH Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Senahid Bristić were also present at the meeting, stated the BiH Ministry of Security.
