SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - An information published in some media that the natural gas price in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be increased by 50 percent is not true,” said the FBiH PM Fadil Novalić today.

He told reporters in Sarajevo that the transport cost will rise by 50 percent, according to the harmonization with the European energy package, not the gas price itself.

"Gas price will not be increased, regardless of the cost of transport," Novalić said.

He said that there are some disagreements between the operators in the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska but that no one can blackmail anyone because the gas price is regulated under the third energy package in which the state level is the one that implements the methodology of calculation, while tariffs are determined by the entities, in accordance with the European regulations.
