SARAJEVO/SREBRENICA, February 16 (FENA) - Former mayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković confirmed today he would run for the positon of president of Republika Srpska entity in the upcoming elections.
Movement "Response" stated in a press release that Duraković announced he will ask for support for his candidacy from associations, political parties and community and that he will not base his campaign on negative propaganda, but on the truth, specific plan and responsibility.
"I am offering civic-oriented, pro-European and pro-BiH program 'Our choice' and I want to be the candidate of all those who want changes in this part of BiH. I am counting on votes of all citizens and I am ready to come and offer third policy in RS, an alternative to what the government and the opposition are offering," said Duraković.
Duraković emphasized he believes in a democratic and non-violent fight for changing the situation in this country.
